The McHenry Township Jr. Warriors is a non-profit travelling tackle football program which has been a part of McHenry for 35 years and a member of the Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL).
McHenry Township Junior Warriors (MTJW) is a supervised program of football for the youth of McHenry Township and is a member of the Junior Football League of Northern Illinois. The MTJW has been a part of McHenry County since 1965 and previously known as the Hornets.
Jr. Warriors has 17 traveling teams with 5 levels of play on both Saturday and Sunday offered for children 7-14 years of age still in 8th grade. Our goal is to teach each player the fundamentals of football, safety, sportsmanship, character, and teamwork.
